weaker 40 bit SSL standard. Stronger encryption standards (such

month) then our shared 128 bit ssl secure server option is the way
to go for most Internet merchants.
Using the strongest data encryption currently available
to the public, our shared secure server option allows your customers
to supply sensitive credit card details or personal data in a secure
128 bit encrypted environment. This gives your customers the confidence
to do business with you. At only AU $12.65 per month (or $6.98 per
month if you are an existing customer of ours), this is also the
most cost effective option available.
What are the advantages of using shared SSL as opposed
to having my own certificate?

shared secure server in a matter of hours, as opposed to days
or even weeks waiting for your own SSL certificate.

How does shared ssl work?
When your customers visit your web site at your
regular web site address of say www.yourdomainname.com and decide
to place an order with you, they simply click a link or order button
on your web site, which links to an order form on your secure server
space at https://www.128bitssl.net/yourdomain.com/yourorderform.htm
The customer is seamlessly transfered to a 128
bit ssl encrypted secure server. However because you can design
your web pages, order forms and applications to have the same look
and feel of your own web site, the customer will not necesarily
even be aware that they have left your web site.
The customer will know however that they are on
a secure server, because the web address in the web browser address
bar will start with https:// and there will be
a small yellow padlock in the right hand side of the status bar
of their web browser.
Your customer can place their order with the peace
of mind that any information they give to you will be encrypted
at the point of data entry, and that hackers cannot steal their
data.
Do I need to have my web site hosted with
you to use your shared SSL secure server?
Absolutely not. You can have your web site hosted
with any web hosting provider, and still connect to our shared secure
server. However, there are savings to be made by having your primary
web hosting account with us (if you have your primary web hosting
account with us the price is reduced from $12.65 per month to only
$6.98 per month, or if you order an e-commerce
web hosting account from us, shared secure server is included
FREE!)
What Technologies Can I Use?
Your secure server space comes with its own CGI-Bin
for the installation of perl scripts. You can also use PHP, MySQL
and SSI. If you are not certain wether our secure server supports

web hosting plan from us, shared secure server space is FREE
of charge. If you currently have or you order a business
web hosting plan or a HDT
plan with us, shared secure server space is available for only
an additional $6.98 per month.
If your main account is hosted with another web
host then the cost is $12.65 per month with a $49.50 setup fee.

web site allow your customers to supply sensitive credit card details
or personal data in a secure 128 bit encrypted environment. This
gives your customers the confidence to do business with you. Starting
from only $198.00 per year installed, our secure certificates give
the same security and browser ubiquity of other 128 bit SSL certificates
costing 3 or 4 times the amount.
Do I need to have my web site hosted with
you in order to have you install my 128 bit SSL certificate?
No, absolutely not. You can be hosted with any
web hosting service provider providing your web hosting account
supports SSL and has a dedicated IP address. You will have to contact
your web host to see if these technologies are available.
There are advantages to having your web site hosted
with us, however, as all of our business web hosting plans are fully
compliant with the SSL protocol, while plans with other web hosts
may not be compliant with the SSL protocol or require additional
charges to be enabled.
